01Acceptance of these terms

This website is operated by Highland Home Care KS LLC (“Highland Home Care”, “we”, “us”, “our”). By accessing or using the site you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please stop using the site.

If you are using the site on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organisation to these terms.

Everything on this website is provided for general information only. It is not medical advice and it is not a substitute for evaluation, diagnosis or treatment by a licensed clinician. Do not delay seeking professional advice because of something you read here.

03Using the website

You may use this site for lawful purposes and for your own personal or internal business use. You agree not to:

• Interfere with, disrupt or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, the staff portal or any connected system.
• Use automated tools to scrape, harvest or copy content, contact details or job listings.
• Submit false, misleading or fraudulent information through any form on the site.
• Upload anything containing viruses, malware or other harmful code.
• Use the site or its content to send unsolicited commercial messages.

We may suspend or withdraw access to the site, in whole or in part, without notice.

04Information about our services

Descriptions of our home care services on this site are general summaries. They do not constitute an offer of service, a guarantee of availability, or a contract for care. Care is only provided under a written service agreement entered into after an assessment, and the terms of that agreement govern the care relationship.

Service availability, scheduling and pricing vary by location, staffing and each client’s individual needs.

05Consultations and enquiries

Submitting a contact form or requesting a consultation does not create a care relationship, and does not guarantee that we can accept a new client. We will respond to enquiries during office hours and will confirm next steps directly.

06Job listings and applications

Job openings shown on our Careers page reflect roles that were open at the time of posting. Openings may be filled, changed or withdrawn at any time without notice.

By submitting an application or general application you confirm that the information you provide, including any resume, is accurate and truthful, and that you have the right to share it. Submitting an application does not create an offer of employment or any contractual relationship. Employment with Highland Home Care, where offered, is subject to background screening, reference checks and any licensing or certification requirements that apply to the role.

How we handle applicant information is described in our Privacy Policy.

07Staff portal accounts

The staff portal, including the Applicant Tracking System, Employee Hub and Employee Time, is restricted to authorised personnel. If you are issued an account:

• You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.
• You must not share your login, and must tell us immediately if you believe your account has been compromised.
• You may only access information you need for your role, and must treat all client and colleague information as confidential.
• You must comply with our internal policies, including those covering protected health information.

We may suspend or terminate portal access at any time, including when your relationship with Highland Home Care ends.

08Intellectual property

The content of this site — text, layout, graphics, logos, icons and code — is owned by Highland Home Care or its licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark law. You may view and print pages for your own reference. You may not reproduce, republish, adapt or commercially exploit any part of the site without our written permission.

The Highland Home Care name and logo are our trademarks. Nothing on this site grants you a licence to use them.

09Content you send us

If you send us feedback, suggestions or other material that is not personal information or an application, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free right to use it without obligation to you. Please do not send us confidential or proprietary material you do not want us to use.

10Third-party links and services

This site links to and embeds services operated by others, including Google Maps, our booking page and our cookie consent tool. We do not control those services and are not responsible for their content, availability or practices. Their own terms and privacy policies apply.

11Disclaimers

The site is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

12Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Kansas law, Highland Home Care and its owners, employees and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising out of your use of or inability to use this site.

13Indemnity

14Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Kansas, without regard to its conflict of law rules. You and Highland Home Care agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Johnson County, Kansas.

15Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The revised version takes effect when posted on this page and we will update the “last updated” date above. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the revised terms.
